Born Down Under, he worked since 1960 in the UK, in the beginning with dance bands.
In 1963 he became a member of the JOHN BURCH OCTET (including Graham Bond, G,Baker & Jack Bruce) followed by
joining ALEXIS KORNER, what led to sessions with the whole english R&B Scene like ZOOT MONEY, GEORGIE FAME
and so on.
