CHET ATKINS :
Chet Atkins (1924-2001) was not only a big influence on generations of guitar players (like : Mark Knopfler),
he also was the most wanted session player in Nashville.
Later worked as producer and label manager too.
The Company Grech he helped to built new guitars.
Most of his recordings are Country - Instrumentals.
LES PAUL (=Lester Polsfuss 1915-2009) :
had together with his wife MARY FORD one of the most successful Duos in the Pop Scene of the early 50s.
From 1950 till 1954 , when their way parted they had 16 Top 10 Hits - best known are TENNESSEE WALTZ or the
number Hit : HOW HIGH THE MOON. He is best known for making the design of a solid body guitar for GIBSON
and innovator of multi tracking.
