Started in the late 60s in the band of his brother Johnny named BLACK PLAGUE. When Johnny Winter went solo
Edgar was involved live and in the studio again and again, but started a own career .
After a first album named ENTRANCE in 1970 he recorded  R&B influenced  Rock with  WHITE TRASH in 1971 and
1972 before changing name to EDGAR WINTER GROUP now more into Hardrock they reached number One in the
USA  in March 1973 with FRANKENSTEIN.
From around  mid 1975 till today some albums got released under his name others as GROUP.
