After Alex Harvey's stint with the Musical Hair and the Hairband he joined jazz guitarplayer RAY RUSSELL (best known
in the UK Jazz + R&B scene) in the new formed experimental Jazzrock group ROCK WORKSHOP for the 1st album only.
Harvey split to form the Sensational Alex Harvey Band by far his best known act.
The ROCK WORKSHOP recorded an 2nd album for CBS too and disbanded in 1972.
